SUCCESS Project

This project aims to (1) reduce inappropriate perioperative urinary catheter use, (2) reduce catheter-associated trauma, and (3) improve the management of postoperative urinary retention.

Breast Surgery 

This project focuses on improving the performance of evidence-based quality measures for patients undergoing partial mastectomy and mastectomy.

Colorectal Cancer

This project focuses on improving the performance of evidence-based quality measures for patients undergoing colorectal cancer surgery to improve short- and long-term outcomes.

Frailty

The goal of this project is to improve the surgical experience for patients identified as frail through interventions shown to potentially improve outcomes.

Preoperative Testing

In collaboration with MVC and MPrOVE, this project works to reduce unnecessary, routine preoperative testing for low-risk surgeries and implement interventions to heighten awareness and reduce variation among hospitals.
