Description: The September MSQC Collaborative meeting brings clinicians together from across the perioperative continuum of surgical care to hear presentations from speakers on topics that will address improving cancer surgery quality, this will include learning about cancer surgery standards and how compliance and measured. They will also learn from MSQC cancer analysis and be able to apply best practices.
After the activity, participants will be able to: • Illustrate the origin and the evidence behind cancer surgery standards • Demonstrate how cancer surgery standards have been implemented as part of cancer program accreditation and how compliance is measured • Define other approaches for monitoring and improving cancer surgery quality • Utilize analysis of MSQC pancreas, breast, thyroid, HIPEC, colorectal, GYN cancer data. • Apply pancreas, breast, thyroid, HIPEC, colorectal, GYN cancer surgical quality improvement best practices.
