Cheryl Rocker MSN, RN, Education Specialist

Cheryl joined the MSQC Coordinating Center team in November 2015. Her primary responsibility is providing training and educational support to the SCQRs at MSQCs member hospitals. Within the clinical team, she leads the Colorectal Cancer and Whipple projects, and participates on the the Surgical Urinary Catheter Care Enhancement Safety Study (SUCCESS) project.

Since completing her ADN in 2004, Cheryl’s entire nursing career has been devoted to surgical patients. Before joining the MSQC Coordinating Center, she was in the SCQR role for two years, and worked several years as a circulator and scrub nurse in the Operating Room, and on a post-surgical step-down unit as a staff nurse. Cheryl obtained an MSN with a specialization in education in 2019.
