The annual SCQR Training Day meeting brings together data abstractor roles to hear presentations from speakers on topics that will address breast cancer variable data abstraction, how to increase stakeholder engagement for project-related practices, and how to utilize strategies to maintain a follow-up rate of >80%.

After this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of a patient’s journey from breast cancer diagnosis to treatment and beyond to assist with breast variable data abstraction

  • Apply helpful strategies and clarification to direct decision-making for accurate case abstraction

  • Implement best QI practices at their home hospital, including increasing stakeholder engagement and project-specific practices

  • Utilize strategies to maintain a follow-up rate of >80%
